Lookups

Struct Lookups

Source
pub struct Lookups {
    declared: Vec<(Applicability, Lookup)>,
}
Expand description

Every lookup the policies a deployment has loaded declare, with the applicability of the policy that declared each.

Fields§

§declared: Vec<(Applicability, Lookup)>

Implementations§

Source§

impl Lookups

Source

pub fn of( builtins: &[BuiltinPolicy], startup: &HashMap<String, ParsedPolicy>, operator: &HashMap<String, ParsedPolicy>, ) -> Self

The lookups of every policy in one build of the tree: the built-ins, the declarations supplied for the length of the run, and the ones read from the operator’s records. The same three sources crate::merge::build takes, so a tree and its lookups are built from one view.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Whether any policy declares a lookup at all. The ordinary answer, and the one that lets a write skip the whole seam.

Source

pub fn for_write(&self, collection: &str) -> Vec<&Lookup>

The lookups a write to collection may need, each once.

Two policies declaring the same record under the same name is one read, because the write path attaches one answer per lookup and an engine asks for it by name.
