Expand description

Why a string is not a syntactically valid DID of any method.

Separate from DidError because the two validators answer separate questions; see validate_did.

Variants§

§

TooLong(usize)

Longer than the atproto cap of 2048 characters.

§

NoDidPrefix

Does not begin with the lowercase literal did:.

§

NoIdentifier

No colon after the method name, so there is no method-specific identifier at all.

§

BadMethod(String)

The method name was empty or held something other than a-z.

§

EmptyIdentifier(String)

The method-specific identifier was empty.

§

InvalidCharacter(char)

A character outside A-Za-z0-9._:%- appeared in the identifier.

§

BadPercentEscape

A % not followed by two hexadecimal digits.

§

TrailingColon

The identifier ended on the : that separates its own parts, which would make the last part empty.
