Why a string is not a usable agent did:web.

Variants§

§

NotDidWeb(String)

The string does not start with did:web:.

§

TooLong(usize)

Longer than the atproto cap of 2048 characters.

§

EmptyIdentifier

The method-specific identifier is empty.

§

PathBased(String)

A literal colon appeared in the identifier. In did:web that is the path separator, and atproto supports hostname-level DIDs only.

§

EncodedPathSeparator(String)

A percent escape that would decode to /, which would graft a path onto the fetch URL.

§

BadPercentEscape(String)

Some percent escape other than the port colon.

§

InvalidCharacter(char)

A character outside the allowed subset, or an uppercase letter in a hostname that must be lowercase to be comparable.

§

EmptyLabel(String)

A .., a leading ., or a trailing . produced an empty DNS label.

§

HyphenEdge(String)

A label starting or ending with a hyphen.

§

PortOnNonLocalhost(String)

A port on something that is not localhost. Ports are development-only.

§

InvalidPort(String)

The port is missing, empty, or not a number.

§

ArpaDomain

A hostname under .arpa, which handles and did:web both exclude.

§

InvalidAccountId(String)

The agent id offered to AccountDid::mint is not a single DNS label.

§

InvalidZoneHost(String)

The zone host offered to Zone::new is not a usable hostname.

§

InvalidPdsHost(String)

The PDS hostname is not a usable hostname.
