pub struct CreateRecordResponse {
pub uri: String,
pub cid: String,
pub validation_status: &'static str,
}Expand description
Response of com.atproto.repo.createRecord.
§The cid names the record, and it is the one the export uses
The lexicon declares cid a required output and this server now emits
one: the hash of the record’s canonical DAG-CBOR encoding, computed by
didbot_pds::content_id. It is the same value the Merkle search
tree keys the record by and the CAR export at
com.atproto.sync.getRepo files it under, which is what makes it safe for
a client to do the things a client does with a CID — pin it, deduplicate
by it, quote it from another record, or hand it back as a
compare-and-swap precondition.
Fields§
§uri: StringThe at:// URI the record was written to.
cid: StringThe CID naming the record’s contents.
validation_status: &'static strvalid or unknown, and a real report rather than a constant.
The lexicon’s knownValues are valid and unknown, and unknown is
what a server says when it stored a record whose lexicon it could not
resolve. That is exactly what the optimistic stance makes possible
, so this field is how a client learns which of the two happened
to the record it just wrote.
