When an OperatorPoll polls: its timer, and the floor a nudge cannot get under.

The two together, rather than two parameters, because they are one decision: how often this server reads somebody else’s repository. Reading them apart is how a deployment ends up with a tight floor and a loose timer, or the reverse, and no idea which one it meant.

Fields

interval: Duration

How often the poll fires on its own.

floor: Duration

The shortest gap between two polls, however many nudges arrive. See MIN_POLL_INTERVAL, which is what every deployment passes; a field only so this module’s own tests can exercise the bound without sleeping through it.
