Why a record’s shape is refused.

Variants§

§

MalformedCollection

The collection is not a syntactically valid NSID.

Fields

§collection: String

The NSID the caller named.

§source: NsidError

Which of the NSID syntax rules it broke.

§

NoSchemaForCollection

The explicit stance was asked for and no lexicon is held for the collection.

Fields

§collection: String

The NSID the caller named.

§

UnrepresentableRecord

The record cannot be represented in the atproto data model.

Fields

§source: DataError

Where in the record the problem is, and what it was.

§

TypeMismatch

The record’s $type disagrees with the collection it was written to.

Fields

§declared: String

The $type carried by the record.

§collection: String

The collection the caller asked to write into.

§

TypeNotAString

The record’s $type is present but is not a string.

§

SchemaViolation

The record does not satisfy the lexicon that defines its collection.

Fields

§collection: String

The collection whose lexicon refused the record.

§path: String

The failing field’s path within the record.

§reason: String

What was wrong with it.
