RelaySection

Struct RelaySection

Source
pub struct RelaySection {
    pub hostname: Option<String>,
    pub hostnames: Option<Vec<String>>,
}
Expand description

Which relays didbot announce and the dashboard’s POST /dashboard/api/relay/announce announce this server to, over com.atproto.sync.requestCrawl and notifyOfUpdate. Every relay named by either key is asked, hostname first, and a relay named twice is asked once.

None — no [relay] table at all — means there is no relay to reach, the same as never passing --relay-hostname; there is no default relay address, because this project vendors nobody’s as one. A *.localhost zone is left unwired regardless of what this section holds, since no relay can reach a loopback address; see didbot_serve::relay’s own doc.

Reload: needs a restart. This is read once at startup and it does not itself trigger anything, so there is nothing to re-read on a running process.

Fields§

§hostname: Option<String>

One relay’s hostname, e.g. bsky.network. Reached over https:// unconditionally — a relay worth announcing to is on the public internet.

§hostnames: Option<Vec<String>>

Relay hostnames, in the form hostname takes. Mirrors --relay-hostname, given once per relay. Zero to a few: each is asked at once on every announce, with its own ten-second limit.
