The most pages one listing follows before giving up.
Each page is bounded in bytes; the number of them was not. A PDS that answers every cursor with another full page keeps the loop running and the map growing for as long as it cares to, which is an unbounded read against a host this deployment does not run. At a hundred records a page this is room for a hundred thousand policy records, which is far past any operator’s set and far short of a problem.
